Join us for the premiere of the 2025 documentary by Zac Colah, South Asia Bound: The Cost of National Identity. The film explores how unitary and exclusionary national identities have taken shape in India and Pakistan since 1947. Through the voices of Salima Hashmi, Taimur Rahman, Aasim Sajjad Akhtar, Furrukh Khan, and Zac Colah, the film brings archaic state narratives into the spotlight.
After the film, Zac Colah and Beena Sarwar, co-founder of Southasia Peace Action Network, will have a brief fireside chat and an opportunity for audience questions.
